YUKA KUMOI

Born and grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey, she started her dance career when she was 10 where she was trained in Jazz. She also modeled at the age of 4-12. She has performed in musicals such as
"PIPPIN" as Catherine and "LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS" as Crystal. She was inspired by Yosakoi when she saw a yosakoi performance on a television show and held a strong interest until she
finally found 10tecomai in 2006. Since then she has performed at the Knitting Factory, Washington D.C.'s annual Cherry Blossom Festival and many other shows. She has returned to her alma-mater Rutgers University to perform in the Organization's annual Sakura Festival.

Aside from 10tecomai, her inspiration derives from musics and lyrics of Ringo Sheena and books by Kazuki Sakuraba. She will like to give her fellow
team-mates a quote from Tokyo Jihen's "Killer Tune".  "Anata wa watashi no isshou mono"

REIKO MORIKAWA

Born in Tokushima, Japan. She started Tokushima’s traditional Japanese dance “Awa Odori” when she was 3. She withdrew from COBU in 2009 to develop her own style as a performer.

She is now working as a dance instructor/director for TMH Dance Studio and the other shows as a dancer, choreographer and director.

KIRSTEN PHILLIPS

A third-generation New Yorker, Kirsten got out in 2005 to import something as unimportant as herself to impressionable schoolchildren in Niigata, Japan for three years. Distractions in that provincial surrounding consisted of murdering enka ballads, quaffing prodigious amounts of chuhai and discovering yosa-koi.

She returned to New York, thrilled to have missed
the Jonas Brothers, Twilight and three-quarters of Bush's second term. She now resides in Brooklyn.

different dance styles as well as utilizing her great flexibility, she is quickly rising as a standout performer within 10tecomai.
